My Tin Toys never stores credit card information.
When you shop at My Tin Toys we implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. When you place orders or input your personal information, my Tin Toys uses a secure server. All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure 128-bit Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
SSL locks all information passed from you to My Tin Toys in an encrypted envelope. This makes it virtually impossible to be intercepted by an unauthorized party.
When you enter our secure pages a secure icon will appear on your browser. For Netscape, this is a key icon; for Microsoft Internet Explorer, a lock icon. Secure web pages can also be identified by their URL: they begin with 'https://', while standard pages begin with 'http://'. When you enter our checkout pages you will see the 'https://', environment.

Your privacy is important to us. My Tin Toys will never share your personal information with any organisation or individual.

If you choose to join our mailing list / newsletter , your contact details will be retained for the sole purpose of keeping you up to date with specials, competitions and general news. Your personal details will never be shared.

My Tin Toys automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, cookie information, and your page requests. This is common practice in any online shop.

My Tin Toys, like other online shops, uses cookies in the operation of its shopping cart. When you visit My Tin Toys, your unique cookie (a small number) identifies your web browser and your cart contents, but not you personally, or your e-mail address. You will not be able to use our shopping cart if you have cookies turned off.

Refunds and Exchanges
Please don't hesitate to contact us 08-9848-3745 if there is a problem with an order. We can sort out most things very quickly, easily and with a minimum of fuss. A happy customer is very important to us and we endevour to treat you as we would wish to be treated. My Tin toys will exchange or provide a refund (less postage costs) if you are unhappy with your toy. Items must be returned in their original condition, un-used and with no damage to the product or packaging. All returns must be made within fourteen (14) days of purchase. Return postage cost will be the responsibility of the purchaser. In order for My Tin Toys to accept the return, a returns authorisation number must accompany it. Please email us to obtain this number, prior to returning the item. This is to ensure your return goes smoothly and we understand the reasons for the return.

An address for returning the item will be provided with the authorisation number. Please allow 5 days (following receipt) for your refund to be processed.

Cancelling Your Order
You may cancel any item from your toy order or your entire order, provided it has not been dispatched. (Note that My Tin Toys endeavours to process and dispatch all orders within 24 hours of order placement). Please email us if you wish to cancel or alter your order.

If your order has already been dispatched and you wish to cancel it, you can return the good(s) to us once you have received them. Please see above for further details. Postage costs will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

Product Warranties
When items leave My Tin Toys they are carefully checked to ensure that they are not damaged.

Each item purchased should only be used for the purpose described and always used under proper adult supervision. Children using the items should be of the appropriate age range. Manufacturers warranties will not be valid where:

1. The item has been subject to misuse or has not been used in accordance with the product guidelines.
2. The manufacturers warranty period has expired.
3. Proof of purchase can not be provided.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Product Availability
All products listed on our website are held in stock (unless otherwise indicated). On very rare occasions, an error in our inventory may result in an out of stock item being listed as in-stock. If this occurs, My Tin Toys will contact you within 24 hours. At this point you can choose to replace the item for a different toy; wait for the back order or cancel the item and receive a full refund.

All toy prices are listed in Australian dollars. Total postage charges are clearly indicated during the checkout process and will not exceed $9.95. My Tin Toys does not apply any hidden fees or surcharges.
